It was 70 years ago this Christmas Day that a dark shadow fell on Hong Kong, chasing away the Christmas spirit. It was the day resistance collapsed and Hong Kong surrendered to the invading Japanese. Lam Kin-keung recalls those who worked to keep peace and good order in the city.
