Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers collaborates with one of the world's most reputable cheese-making brands Philippe Olivier Cheese Shop, bringing to the guests every Friday night a series of French cheeses at the hotel's Wineroom bar. Choices are abundant to cater for the cheese buffs in town, including 18 kinds of cheese under six categories: lactic cheese, soft rind, uncooked pressed, cooked pressed, soft washed rind and parsley. Fathers' Day Dining Special
The Kowloon Hotel is offering a couple of special dining choices for those who plan to celebrate the forthcoming Fathers' Day. The Window Cafe serves up a delectable "French Gastronomy" buffet dinner with highlights including foie gras and escargots, as well as freshly flown-in US rock oysters, an array of cold seafood, sushi and Asian hot dishes. The Loong Yat Heen restaurant provides a ten-course Chinese set menu, priced at HK$2,790 for six persons and HK$5,580 for 12. The menu includes Roasted Sliced Suckling Pig, Sauteed Crystal Prawn, Thick Shark's Fin Soup with Dried Seafood, among others. Fresh Summer Food
The glo restaurant and lounge of the Hotel de EDGE by Rhombus, the latest landmark in Sheung Wan, is launching their inaugural Chefs Specialty Table d'hote dinner menu available throughout the month of June. Selected dishes include Ice & Rosen Salad made of Ice Berg Lettuce, Blue Rosenberg Cheese and Candied Walnuts; Pan Roasted Duck Breast with Carrot and Vanilla Puree, Glazed Potato Cylinder; Central Market Vegetable Pasta made of Heirloom Tomat oes, Fresh Basil, among others, with two courses priced at HK$198, and three courses at HK$238.
