Aboriginal women in their festive best applaud as "Premier" Wu Den-yih officiated at a groundbreaking ceremony Monday to kick off the construction of permanent housing in the southernmost county of Pingtung for people displaced by Typhoon Morakot last August. The housing project will be located on a 30-hectare plot that used to house the Pingtung branch of the semi-official Central Broadcasting System.
