Japan customs slips hash in traveler's luggage
The Japan Customs yesterday apologized to a passenger heading to Hong Kong for slipping a cannabis package into his suitcase on Sunday at Naritz International Airport in what was intended to be an exercise for a sniffer dog.
The dog failed to find the drug and the officer forgot which bag he put it in.
The suitcase was collected and left the airport. The traveler was finally located in a hotel and the drug was retrieved.
Secretary for Security Ambrose Lee of the Hong Kong government said such training in the city is only conducted in a simulated environment.

The observatory's Acting Assistant Director Lau Sum-yee said the service enables people to assess the risk of lightning and decide whether planned activities should proceed.
People can choose their location of interest, either from a list on the observatory's webpage or entering the name of a building, estate or street. An alert will be provided when there is lightning within a 15km range of the specified location.
City has lowest orgasm frequency worldwide
Hong Kong people enjoy the lowest orgasm frequency during sex compared to people from the rest of the world.
In 2006, Durex, a condom manufacturer, surveyed 26,032 people from 26 regions on their orgasm frequency online.
Italians, Spaniards and Mexicans came first with 66 percent saying they achieved orgasm consistently. Hong Kong finished bottom with only 24 percent reporting they had sexual climax consistently.
The phenomenon is attributed by a sex therapist to Hongkongers' enthusiasm at work and in money-making.
