Tongchuan is located in the middle of Shaanxi Province, in the transition zone between Guanzhong Plain and Loess Plateau (Huangtu Gaoyuan). It is a provincial city of Shaanxi and an important part of Guanzhong economic zone. Tongchuan became a city in 1958. Through fifty years’ development, especially after the Reform and Open-up Policy, Tongchuan has built itself as a comprehensive industrial city with full-fledged industry, solid agricultural infrastructure, perfect urban infrastructure, growing economic power and favorable public service.

铜川位于陕西省中部，处于关中平原向陕北黄土高原的过渡地带,是关中经济带的重要组成部分，是陕西省省辖市。铜川1958年建市，经过50年特别是改革开放以来的快速发展，已经成为一个工业门类比较齐全、农业基础条件优越、城市基础设施功能完善、经济实力日益增强，各项社会事业全面进步的综合性工业城市。
