　 Tianshui, Gansu Province 甘肃省天水市

Located in the southeast of Gansu province, Tianshui city is a part of the Silk Road. Across the Yangtze River and Yellow River, the city runs through the new Eurasian Continental Bridge. Now, Tianshui dominates two districts of Qinzhou and Maiji, five counties of Qin’an, Qingshui, Gangu, Wushan and Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County with a total population of 3.28 million. Tianshui has a pleasant climate and is rich in resources. In 2007, the GDP of Tianshui is 19.60 billion yuan with disposable income per capita of 8,319 yuan. Besides, Tianshui is also one of China’s five famous Electrical Industrial Bases. It has been listed as National Pilot Cities of Optimizing Capital Structure and Provincial civilized city, etc.

天水市位于甘肃东南部，自古是丝绸之路必经之地。全市横跨长江、黄河两大流域，新欧亚大陆桥横贯全境。现辖秦州、麦积2区，秦安、清水、甘谷、武山、张家川回族自治县5县，40个镇，109个乡，11个街道办事处，总人口328万人。境内四季分明，气候宜人，物产丰富，素有西北“小江南”之美称。 2007年全市实现生产总值196.2亿元，城镇居民人均可支配收入8319元。天水是全国著名的五大电器工业基地之一，目前已形成了机械、轻纺、电子三大行业为主导的工业体系，先后被列为全国优化资本结构试点城市、老工业基地技术改造重点城市、科教兴市重点城市、省级文明城市、卫生城市和全省双拥模范城。

分管工作：负责金融、统计、招商引资、开发区（科技、物流、工业等园区）建设、商贸流通、物价、市场监管等方面的工作。分管市统计局、市商务局、市招商局、市粮食局、市政府金融工作办公室、市物价局。主持天水经济开发区管理委员会工作。
