All in Glass 2009 to Highlight at Glasstec08

All in Glass 2009, the only regional trade exhibition supported in China by Glasstec, kicked off a series of promotion activities at Glasstec08, introducing the latest information of this renowned fair in South China and updating trends and insights of China glass industry to the global players.

2008 International Trade Fair with Special Show Glass Technology Live (Glasstec08), the No. 1 exhibition of glass industry in the world, is held in Düsseldorf, Germany from Oct. 21-25, 2008. As the only regional trade exhibition supported in China, the 2nd China International Exhibition for Glass Technology (All in Glass 2009), with its slogan"Go South", launched a series of promotion activities at this exhibition to promoting the upcoming trade show in China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou, PR China from November 25to 27, 2009. Glasstec is deemed as the best business platform for top trade players and buyers, and it also provides good opportunities for All in Glass 2009 to attract foreign buyers by offering insight into glass industry in China, especially South China.

All in Glass 2009 Launching Press Conference Staging at Glasstec

As the highlight of the promotion activities at Glasstec, All in Glass 2009 launching press conference kicked off in CCD South Room 02, Germany on Oct. 23rd. At this occasion, Mr. Tony Fung, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd., Mr. Wang Feiyue, Vice General Manager of China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Corp., Mr. Hans Werner Reinhard, the Executive Director of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH， Prof. Shi Dinghuan, President of China Renewable Energy Society and Mr. Shan Daoli, Market Director of CSG Holding Co., Ltd, the leading enterprise in China’s glass industry addressed their keynote speeches, introducing the latest information and highlights of All in Glass 2009 ,as well as the news updated trends and insight of glass industry and market in China. The glass industry has developed rapidly in recent years in south China, especially in Guangdong province. Up to the end of 2007, the total industrial output value of glass companies in Guangdong hit about 16 billion yuan, increased 23% compared with 13 billion yuan at the same period in 2006. Production bases starring by Dongguan, Jiangmen, Shenzhen and Shunde are generally established, effectively concentrating regional resources. Meanwhile, glass products have been gradually upgraded to a high-end level, such as hollow glass and solar glass. However, In 2008, facing increasing raw material price and the appreciation of RMB, many companies actively take measures to overcome the challenges by optimizing product structure, adjusting manufacturing capacity, enhancing technological innovation and upgrading the products, which are indeed effective to control the cost and strengthen their competitiveness. Debuted in 1970, the Glasstec hosted by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH is held every two years. With the show area of 65,500m2, Glasstec 2008 is to highlight"Glass and Energy" to the participants from worldwide. All in Glass 2009 is the only regional exhibition supported by glasstec in China. It is organized by China Foreign Trade Center (Group) and Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd., and undertaken by China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Corp. and Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd. All in Glass has successfully made its debut in Guangzhou in November, 2007, and its second show will be grandly staged again in China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou, PR China from November 25 to 27, 2009.
