Charlie Sheen agrees deal

Charlie Sheen has "definitely" reached a plea agreement deal with legal authorities.

The 'Two and a Half Men' actor - who will appear in court on June 7 to answer charges of felony menacing, misdemeanour third-degree assault and misdemeanour criminal mischief relating to a row he had with wife Brooke Mueller on Christmas Day (25.012.09) - has come to an arrangement with officials over the charges, Chief Deputy District Attorney Arnold Mordkin has confirmed.

However, the prosecutor declined to reveal any details of the deal.

Brooke's lawyer Yale Galanter also confirmed an agreement had been reached, but not yet approved by a judge.

He said: "There has definitely been a deal reached. Brooke is totally satisfied with the deal but if she had her druthers, the case would have been dismissed.

"But a deal is not a deal until the judge approves it".

Yesterday (01.06.10), it was reported Charlie had agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanour offence that would see him receive a short prison sentence, but not be put on probation afterwards.

It is expected he could start a 30-day jail term after a court hearing on June 7, but he could be out after 15 days with good behaviour.

Charlie is currently living away from his wife of two years Brooke - with who he has 15-month old twin boys Bob and Max.

Both Charlie and Brooke have been in rehab facilities since the incident in December.
