Demi Moore puts kids first

Demi Moore puts her children before anything else in her life.

The actress claims she and husband Ashton Kutcher - who she wed in 2005 - both have such an amicable relationship with her ex-husband Bruce Willis, with who she has three daughters, because none of the adults put themselves first.

Speaking on 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross', she said: "The most important thing is to make your kids your priority, so it becomes very easy."

Despite this, Demi, 47, admits having a husband 15 years her junior does mean he can be childish, such as posting pictures of her in a pair of knickers on twitter, but she is happy to play along with his pranks.

She added: "I'm laying in wait to get him."

Demi - who took a six-year break from acting following her divorce from Bruce - also admitted it was Ashton and her children, daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, who pushed her back into work.

She said: "My kids started saying, 'When are you going to work again?' "

The actress has previously spoken about she felt very insecure making her big screen return in 2003, but knew it was something she had to do.

She said: "When I stepped away, I experienced a tremendous amount of criticism. It made me question whether I actually wanted to be this at all. Did I really want to put myself out there?

"As human beings, we all need other people's approval. But you can't live your life seeking like that. It's a recipe for unhappiness. I realise now that when you're just starting, you haven't gotten anything yet to understand the fear of losing it. I'm much more vulnerable today."
