Artist Sam Shaker is an old friend of Amy Winehouse and she has been going to his club The Jazz After Dark with Blake since before she was famous. She asked him to do a series of paintings of her, and her family members and the latest of these works was a picture of herself and Blake, which she commissioned to show she is back with her ex-husband.

Sam explains: "Each one is a portrait of her, but I like to paint her looking slightly different - with a different emotion everytime."

Amy Winehouse liked the 14 paintings he did so much that she's commissioned him to do another six for a special show to be held at the club, which also doubles as a gallery. "She said she loved the paintings and gave me some more pictures to do more paintings of, including one of her with Blake." added Sam. "When they came to see them she was taking Blake by the hand and showing him the pictures, he said he thought they were beautiful." Added Sam, who also painted Amy's grandmother Esther shortly before her death last April. Amy's father Mitch loved that painting so much that it now hangs in his home.

Sam, who has been painting for 50 years, added, "no-one ever wanted to buy my paintings, I couldn't even give them to people. "Them when Kate Moss started to come to my club, I did a painting of her which she loved, and now everyone wants them."
