Michelle McGee defended by father

Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee's dad has defended her for sleeping with Sandra Bullock's husband.

The father of the tattoo model - who claims she had an 11-month affair with motorbike entrepreneur Jesse James - claims his daughter was assured by Jesse he had split from his wife when they embarked on their relationship.

Denny McGee, a barber, said: "The truth of the matter is, going into this whole thing with Jesse James, Michelle was single, and she was under the assumption that Jesse was single. As far as I'm concerned, they were two single people going out with each other, and there's nothing wrong with that.

"James said, they have 'a thing now where they kind of live apart and she's on the scene for movies in stuff, and I'm here in San Diego.' "

He also told how his 32-year-old daughter was furious when she saw Jesse and Sandra attending the Oscars together earlier this month, where Sandra, 45, picked up the gong for Best Actress for her role in American Football drama 'The Blind Side' - prompting Michelle to sell her story to In Touch Weekly magazine.

Denny added to news channel Fox8: "She was under the impression they weren't seeing each other. She felt betrayed. She felt like she was going to have a relationship and this happened and she was mad.

"I don't think they're on speaking terms right now. She's more or less taking up her own business right now, and she's not really concerned about Jesse and Sandra."

Michelle was reportedly paid $30,000 for her revelations and has not since been in contact with Jesse, 40.

Both Michelle and Sandra are separately in hiding, and neither has made a public statement.

Jesse has told of his desperation for his wife of five years to forgive him, and also said: "I deserve everything bad that is coming my way."

Three other women have come forward claiming to have had affairs with Jesse during his almost five-year marriage to Sandra.
