Elton John: I always pray for sex

The rock legend joined the panel of women discussing the days topics on U.S. TV's The View. Elton, wearing a dark suit along with the bright glasses and a dangly earring, was introduced by co-host Whoopi Goldberg as "the one, the only, the most magnificent man - Sir Elton John".

 

Elton spent a large part of the show discussing coming out as a gay man. "It hurt me a little bit, but not that much, and it gave me the freedom to be who I was for the rest of my life," he said. "The best thing I ever did was be true to myself." Promoting Next Fall, the Broadway play he is a producer of, he told how one "deeply religious" character "prays before sex", then quipped: "I always pray for sex."
