Sharon Osbourne believes she and Ozzy Osbourne are still happily married because they are like "bread and butter".
The TV star - who has three grown-up children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack, with the former Black Sabbath singer - says their union has survived all the tribulations thrown at them because they are prepared to work at it.
Sharon said: "Ozzy says we are meant to be, we're like bread and butter. It works because we have the love, respect and desire not to give up on each other.
"Life creeps on you and you realize too late that fairy-story romances do not exist. Ozzy and I have evolved. We've hit some low points when he faced his addictions but we came out the other side."
Sharon, 57, is also Ozzy's manager and she admits her role in his life has become muddled over the years.
She added to Stylist magazine: "Ozzy and I have been working together for 30 years and there are certain situations where you must ask, am I a wife or manager? For me the manager always comes first. You always want what's best for your act."
Despite being a loving mother, Sharon has revealed it was hard to juggle her professional and family life when the kids were young and she was on the road with Ozzy, 61.
The 'America's Got Talent' judge said: "My kids have suffered by not having me at home. I carry a permanent guilt about it. I tried to do my best but you can never be a great professional and a great mum at the same time. If I was on tour in Japan and one of my kids was ill and calling for me what could I do?"
