Ke$ha to end Boyle's run atop U.S. album chart

LOS ANGELES - Rookie pop singer Ke$ha will end Susan Boyle's six-week reign on the U.S. pop album chart when final data are published on Wednesday.

Label sources indicate that what was originally thought to be a race between the two albums last Wednesday turned out to be any easy win for Ke$ha.

Her debut album "Animal," which went on sale last Tuesday, was initially projected to sell maybe 100,000 copies through Sunday. However, sources say it actually sold about 150,000 copies, easily beating Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream."
