"Prime" time - Mirren takes TV award

added another gong to her awards cabinet, this time for her performance in the
British TV drama "Prime Suspect."
The Oscar-winning star of "The Queen" was named best actress at the Royal
Television Society awards Tuesday for playing embattled cop Jane Tennison in the
final season of the show, which sees her alcoholic character struggling to save
her career.
Michael Sheen's performance as comic legend Kenneth Williams in BBC4's
"Fantabulosa" earned him the best actor award while writer-comedian Stephen
Merchant won best comedy performance for "Extras."
