Kevin Federline seeks ghostwriter to shed 'Mr Britney Spears' tag

Updated: 2006-11-06 09:27

Aspiring rapper Kevin Federline is so tired of being referred to as 'Mr Britney Spears', that he's decided to pen a book about his life so that people can know the real him.

The 'Playing With Fire' singer, who was a back-up dancer when he met Spears, has not had an easy time dealing with the loss of his identity and being referred to only as Britney¡¯s hubby.

Now, in a bid to create an independent image for himself, Federline has decided to pen the story of what his life was like before he met the 'Toxic' singer.

"The book is definite. It will be a biography of my life until I met my wife, so people will better understand who I am," the New York Post quoted him, as saying.

However, unlike his rap career, K-Fed won't be tackling his new project on his own, deciding instead to hire the services of a ghostwriter.

"I haven't done it yet. You know, I'll get a ghostwriter in there," he added. (ANI)
