The report on the accident, which was kept under wraps by the 'Alfie' star while promoting his new film 'All The King's Men', was published by a British newspaper today.

A source said that Law's three kids--nine-year old Rafferty, five-year old Iris, and four-year old Rudy--were on the back seat with their nanny, when the accident occurred, adding that the 33-year old actor was not driving rashly.

"His children were strapped correctly into the back and his nanny was in the passenger seat. Jude's a very careful driver but another car shot out in front of him and there was nothing he could do. They just collided,"Contactmusic quoted the source as telling the Daily Express.
