Janet Jackson uses her fame to shop in France Updated: 2006-09-18 11:22 Celebs, like any other mortal, also want to enjoy their life without
fans mobbing them, but it's very seldom that they get any such chance.
However, singer Janet Jackson recently got lucky when during her latest day
off in Paris, France, she got the rare opportunity to shop in peace, after
owners of high-end fashion boutiques Hermes and Colette agreed to shut their
stores down for her.
The pop superstar, who is in Europe promoting her new album 20 Years Old,
admits she was able to browse in peace, insisting it to be one of the luxuries
she most enjoys about being famous.
"I like it like this when you can come to the store and they leave the place
open for you and you can get to run around and just really look," Contactmusic
quoted her, as saying. (ANI)
