Nude photo shoot caused too much hullabaloo for Knightley

'Pirates of the Caribbean' star Keira Knightley said that the media reports on 'The Wedding Crashers' beauty Rachel McAdams quitting the 'Vanity Fair' nude photo shoot have been unnecessarily sensationalised.

McAdamas after feeling uncomfortable about the 'strip-affair' walked off the nude cover shoot where she was supposed to model alongside Knightley and Scarlett Johansson.

"It was actually pretty undramatic as I remember it. Quite early on Rachel just said, 'No, I'm not into that.' She's a lovely girl, and I really respect her for doing that", Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"Both me and Scarlett had worked with Annie Leibovitz (the photographer) and her team before, and I really get on with them, so that was a situation I felt comfortable in. Both me and Scarlett said, 'This is definitely something that we're up for.' "So why not? It's something to show the grandchildren!" she added.

The 'Pride and Prejudice' star further said that she thinks McAdam's decision was absolutely right, for she feels that in this industry women should be brutally honest to themselves about what they're comfortable with. (ANI)
