Let's be Friends again, pleads Aniston

Jennifer Aniston wants to do a special one-off episode of the hit television comedy "Friends," the US actress said in an interview.

She said she missed making the show and was keen to reprise her role as Rachel in a Thanksgiving special.

"I do at times miss it," the 37-year-old told Britain's Channel Four television.

"The only thing I can think of doing is maybe for fun doing a Thanksgiving episode. Our Thanksgiving episodes were really fun."

The final episode of the hugely successful sitcom was broadcast in May 2004 after a 10-year run.

Reunions have been rumoured in the past and Aniston's co-star Courteney Cox, who played Monica, has recently said she could envisage a Thanksgiving get-together.

Aniston broke down in tears during the interview, which touched on her love life and broken marriage to Brad Pitt.

Last month she told a British newspaper that she hoped to be friends again one day with her ex-husband, whom she said she would love forever.

She said she harboured no bitterness about her high-profile break-up with Pitt, who ran off with actress Angelina Jolie.

Aniston is said to be romantically involved with Vince Vaughn, her co-star in the film "The Break Up."

But she would only tell Channel Four: "He's a great man, he's a great friend, he's a great actor and so much fun."
