Groupon eyes China market

网团巨头盯上中国市场

 

 

 

 

 

Groupon, the largest US group-buying company, bought the majority stake in Qpod, the largest such website in Japan Wednesday, signaling a start of its investment in Asia, the Wall Street Journal reported. Chicago-based Groupon which thrives on offering daily local deals based on bulk customer actions has become international by investment and acquisition and begins to consider Chinese market now.

 

 

 

 

 

据美国《华尔街日报》报道,18日美国最大团购网站Groupon对亚洲团购市场投下首单,购买了日本最大团购网站Qpod大部分股权。总部位于芝加哥的Groupon,主要为网友提供团购服务。它通过投资和兼并现在已经发展为一个跨国企业,并开始考虑进军中国市场。
