据最新报道，根据巴基斯坦当地居民从现场发现的弹片，近日在巴基斯坦传出死讯的“基地”新任三号人物哈姆扎·拉比耶很可能是被中情局导弹炸死的。
请看外电报道中的这样一句话：Pakistan hasdeployedthousands of troops in the area, fighting intense battles with militants and killing and capturing several of them.
报道中的deploy指的是“部署；调度”，我们通常所说的“部署（军队）”用的就是deploy这个词。如，to deploy forces to check aggressions（部署军队以阻止侵略）。
Deploy还有“施展；利用”的意思，例如，to deploy all the forces of one's genius（施展自己的全部才能）；Efforts must be deployed to bring about a vigorous development in agriculture.（必须大力发展农业。）
