一天，我到邻居老外家串门，见到他们全家正在听一个正在上初中的孩子讲故事。这个孩子说老师出了一道題：世界上到底先有鸡还是先有蛋。班里同学对这个问题展开了热烈的辩论，两种观点相持不下。孩子的爸爸问他：“那么你认为答案应该是什么呢？”孩子回答说：“先有蛋。”可是爸爸不同意。于是爷俩争了起来。孩子的爸爸好像有些着急，说了一句：“You put the cart before a horse.”
