Elderly man sets up library for village

An 83-year-old man set up a small library in his home in a village of Ledong Li Autonomous County in Hainan Province, aiming to enrich villagers' cultural life.

Chen Qifen bought the books mainly using his retirement pension.

Now, Chen has collected more than 3,000 books in his library, mainly on agricultural technology, history and entertainment.

The small library has attracted lots of nearby villagers and students as its frequent visitors.
