Tibetan bootsTibetan boots have a history of more than 600 years in a small village of Jiangshijia, in Huangnan Tibet Autonomous Prefecture.

Tibetan boots are characterized by its variety in styles and sizes. The people either male or female in all ages can wear this kind of boots.

The 65-year-old Tibetan, Doyel Gyalpo is one of the boot makers in this village. In recent years, the fast-growing economy has brought great changes to the boot makers and the villagers. Less and less people choose to make Tibetan boots. As Doyel Gyalpo said, he might be the last one who still made this kind of boots in the village. Will Tibetan boots disappear in the near future or handed down to next generation. It is a question concerning the fate of the Tibetan boots.
