More parks to create garden atmosphere

Fifteen new parks are to be built in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province, to enhance the city into a National Gardens City.

Authorities say 500 hectares' of parklands will be added to the downtown area. The plant cover rate will be increased to be 35 per cent and per capita plant coverage will be 7 square metres by the end of August, the news website xinhuanet reports.
