The visit to Brazil by Chinese President Hu Jintao will boost ties between the two countries, said a Brazilian analyst Tuesday.

The visit, scheduled for Nov. 11-16, will also provide an opportunity for more cooperation between businessmen in the two countries, said journalist Carlos Tavares, who has written nearly 500 articles about China.

The project of Private-Public Associations, which is under the consideration of the Brazilian congress, will offer a chance for Chinese companies to participate in the sectors of mutual interests, such as transportation and export harbors, said Tavares.

A combination of Chinese capital and labor with Brazilian agricultural land and raw materials represents an enormous potential, he stressed.

According to Tavares, China's success in agricultural and educational reforms are good experience for Brazilians.

Trade between Brazil and China will reach 7 billion US dollars this year and the exchange of visits between Hu Jintao and his Brazilian counterpart Inacio Lula da Silva will boost this figure,Tavares said. Da Silva visited China last May.
