More than 10 pet dogs from Yongtieyuan Community in Beijing, have been organized to be a public security patrol team, Beijing News reports.

Accompanied by their owners, the dogs start patrolling at 4:30 am and 8:00 pm every day. They examine every corner of the community during their working time which usually takes about two hours.

"We have got used to waking up early in the morning and having a walk with the pet dogs in the morning and evening," said one dog owner.

The owners of the pet dogs are all volunteers who are active in public welfare for the community residents.
