Qinhuangdao Yaohua expands product line-up

Qinhuangdao Yaohua Glass Company Limited, a subsidiary of China Yaohua Glass Group Corporation, seeks to expand its product line-up in a bid to make more competitive products in the global market, the company said.

A miniature of Qinhuangdao Yaohua Guotou Float Glass Company Ltd, a subsidiary of Fuyao Glass Group Corporation, is seen in the company's show house of glass products. Yaohua Guotou has a registered capital of 858.57 million yuan. [chinadaily.com.cn]

Advanced online chemical vapor deposition coating facilities are also being installed at one of the company's high quality float lines, which enables the company to develop and produce high performance energy efficient flat glass products, Low-E and Sun-E.

According to the company, the Low-E glass is capable of preventing the far infrared heat and free of light pollution. The Sun-E glass, said the company, is able to prevent the solar radiation and thermal radiation from passing through the glass to the indoor area.

The company will also install three production lines in the new production base in the northern part of Qinhuangdao to make super-thin and thick glass to meet market demand.

The company is also planning to make glass with nano technology and self-cleaning glass with the help of universities and institutions.
