Summary
The adoption of international standards and foreign advanced standards ("standards adoption" for short) is to analyze and study international standards, and transfer them into Chinese ones (including state , trade , district and enterprises standards) to different respects, and then to carry them out.

　　Agricultural standardization

　　For these years, Hebei has speeded up the implementation of agricultural standardization and boosted it to join with the international practices; and pushed agriculture to develop in the direction of systematic industrialization, management standardization, and famous-brand products. First, a series of agricultural standards are framed, and a comprehensive standard system and quality inspection system have been established primarily. Second, the agricultural technology regulations encourage agriculture to organize its farming according to the standards. For example, "fruit garden standardization" construction in Botou makes the output of yellow pears increase by 25%; Lulong County worked out and implemented standards on the basis of spreading poison-doffing and ground-covering technology and centering characteristic industry-sweet potatoes, whose output has increased by 6.2 tons per hectare. Third, agricultural standardization demonstration districts construction was carried out in throughout Hebei. Now, there are 16 demonstration districts. Weichang County's 74% of potato growing has been organized according to the special standards.

　　Enterprise standardization

　　Hebei actively pushes its industrial enterprises to organize production in accordance with the standards, especially those enterprises whose production is related to health and property safety .It has strengthened its standardization force to chemical industry, food, building material, textile, medicine and other industries. Especially to those projects which can take the place of imports and whose intending export foreign exchange will go beyond 1 million US dollars, and to those projects concerning energy, new-type materials, medicines, basic original parts, important technical equipment, environmental products, bio-technology and info-technology, Hebei adopts key standards. It also encourages enterprises to adopt international standards and foreign advanced standards to establish enterprise standards system with technology standards as principal parts, and with working standards and management standards as the additional standards. It leads enterprises to implement eagerly the state standards of GB/T19000 quality control system and quality guarantee system. Now, most of the large-scale enterprises, with China Lekai Film Company, North China Pharmacy Group Co., Ltd. and Handan Iron and Steel Group Liability Co., Ltd as the representatives, have passed authentication of international standards. With the development of information construction and information industry, Hebei has explored new fields of information technology standardization. Commodity bar code and organization code are popularized and used.
