Now there are 3 world's cultural heritages in Hebei, namely, the Great Wall, Chengde Summer Resort and the Eight Outer Temples,and the Royal Tombs of the Qing Dynasty(the East Qing Tombs the West Qing Tombs).

There are 680 historical relics under provincial or state protection, which ranks the first in the whole country; there are 88 historical relics under state protection, ranking the 3rd in China.
