Hunan finds development outlet

Hunan is making the best to find her own development road. Located in central China, Hunan missed the economic blooms that eastern coastal cities have experienced, and the same situation happens again when Central Movement pushes China Western Development strategy.

Xu Yunzhao, Hunan Deputy Governor, said Hunan has found the outlet and mapped out a development plan. With enriched natural and labor resources, Hunan's goal is playing the role of hub between eastern and western China.

Recent years, Hunan has made great achievement in economic development. The GDP in the year 2003 has reached 463 billion yuan with a per capita average of 7247 yuan. After entering the new century, Hunan is endeavouring to promote industrialization, industrial operation of agriculture and urbanization.

A developing Hunan is drawing the world's attention with its beautiful new look, an opening Hunan is extending its arms to welcome new friends.
