'Red guards' promote wedding services
Wearing green military uniforms and badges on their sleeves, they looked like the "red guards" during the "cultural revolution" (1966-76).
But they were employees of a wedding website which was promoting its services at Beijing International Exhibition Hall on Saturday, and their attire led to strong comments from visitors to the fair, Beijing Times reports.
Some elderly visitors were angry, saying the suits reminded them of the hard days during the "cultural revolution."
However, a website official said they were only interested in attracting eyeballs.
