A netizen has launched an electronic "anti-theft" map on several famous locations in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province. You can view the "hot spots" where thefts have frequently occurred by logging onto the map, a Hangzhou based newspaper reported.

After its launch, more than 40 netizens added spots. Users can read more about the potentially dangerous locations by placing their cursor on the desired spot.

The map was designed so users can avoid the dangers of these types of locations, and so they generally pay more attention to their wallets.

Viewers can easily use their mice to enlarge or shrink the maps scale, check each spot and read the comments. They may also add new spots or

write their own opinions after registering.

The index of the spots, such as Wulin Square, are written in great detail, including the time of, exact location, method of theft and the victims comments, the newspaper said.

The creator of the map, Sun Haitao, said he hopes the map arouses people's attention on theft and the consciousness about anti-theft.
