To build up a "new countryside," rural education must take a giant step forward. Some kids refuse to go to school or their parents refuse to send them. That's not their fault. Some government departments should take responsibility to improve rural education that can light up the life of every child. Intellectuals - especially teachers - from urban areas should spend time teaching at the rural level, and schools that train teachers should produce more who are willing to stay in villages.
