China ends antidumping investigation over rubber imports (Xinhua) Updated: 2006-02-09 16:36
China's Ministry of Commerce on Thursday called an end to the antidumping
investigation over rubber imports from the United States, the Republic of Korea
and the Netherlands.
The ministry made the decision at the request of the Jilin Chemical Industry
Company, the company that originally asked for the investigation but who now
deem it unnecessary.
China's Ministry of Commerce began its antidumping investigation against
imports of ethylene-propylene-non-conjugated diene rubber, mainly used in the
construction, wire and cable, and auto industries, on August 10, 2004.
According to China's antidumping laws, the importers of the mentioned
chemical products can retrieve their deposits when the goods are handed to
Chinese customs.
