Single mums advice line established

The first hotline offering help to single mothers has been launched in Shanghai, with funds of 600,000 yuan (US$73,980).

Statistics show the number of women giving birth under the age of 20 has doubled in the city in the past 10 years.

Doctors say early pregnancies pose a danger to mother and baby.

The maternal mortality rate of women under the age of 20 is much higher.
