China seizes 1010kg smuggling Ketamine

Chinese police have uncovered the largest international ketamine smuggling case ever cracked since 1949, seizing 1,010 kilograms of Ketamine, a spokesman of China's Ministry of Public Security said on Wednesday.

The case was uncovered on September 19 by police in Shandong and Guangdong provinces and Hong Kong under unified coordination of the Ministry of Public Security, the spokesman said at a press conference held in Beijing Wednesday.

Police have detained six suspects and seized 1,010 kg of ketamine made in India and 80,000 yuan of illicit funds.
