Coal mine explosion kills 34

Rescuers prepare to go into a coal mine to search for stranded miners in Hebi City, central China's Henan Province, in the early Monday morning, Oct. 3, 2005. A gas explosion occured Monday in the coal mine belonging to the Henan Hebi Coal (group) company and all the 34 bodies have been found. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
