Bus blast kills one, injures 23 in Fujian

One person was killed and 23 others were injured in a bus explosion that occurred Monday noon in Fuzhou, capital of east China's Fujian Province, said local police.

At around 14:30 Monday, a No.5 bus exploded in the downtown area of the city, killing one and injuring 23 others. The wounded have been rushed to local hospitals.

And the suspect who ignited the home-made bomb was preliminarily determined to be a farmer from Putian city of the province, the local police said, adding that the suspect, 42, was suffering the later period of lung cancer.
