Bus blast kills one, injures 23

Rescuers try to get an injured passenger out of a bus hit by an explosion in Fuzhou, East China's Fujian Province August 8, 2005. The blast left one dead and 23 others injured. Huang Maojin, a farmer suffering from cancer, was suspected of the crime, Xinhua News Agency quoted local police as saying. The explosive was homemade. A China News Service report said that this was a suicide blast and Huang was the one killed. [fjii.com]
