Stranded Russian submarine rescued Updated: 2005-08-08 06:45

The crew of the stranded Russian AS-28 Priz mini-submarine disembarks from

The submarine crew are in satisfactory condition, deputy head of the Russian
navy's main headquarters said. [Reuters]

Lieutenant Vyacheslav Milashevsky (C) commander of the Russian mini-submarine
that stranded in the Pacific Ocean and other members of the crew leave the ship
they boarded after they were rescued in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky August 7, 2005.
About five hours after the rescue of the crew, six of the members were brought
to a hospital on the mainland for examination, waving to relatives as they went
in. The seventh was kept aboard a hospital ship for unspecified reasons.
