Daniel Wu forms a new band

Daniel Wu forms a new band

Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu recently formed a new band Alive with Terrence Yin, Andrew Lin and Conroy Chan.

They will perform on yepp [V]T8 crazy summer concert on Thursday on which Janice and Charles Ying are also invited.

Alive will also join in the yepp [V]T8 concert tour in Taiwan, Mahanakhon and Shanghai besides Hong Kong.

The new band plans to release an EP this year including Cantonese, Chinese and English songs. The four of them can't pronounce Cantonese absolutely correct, and coincidentally their first song is Cantonese. The EP will be produced independently aiming at commercial popularity.

Alive has formed "alivenot-dead.com" as their official website. They decided not to sign with a company because they thought their music should not be restraint by the company. If they have any new songs in the future, they will put it on their website, and allow free downloads to everyone. There will be pictures, MTV on the website. Earlier they worked together to film a icommercial, and will use that money for the website. Alive said that the reason for forming a band is not to make money but to fulfill their dreams and to encourage more people.

When being asked whether they want to substitute F4, four of them immediately laughed and Conroy Chan jokingly responded, "I am not familiar with them, who is F4?"
