Liu Xiang ranks 10th on IAAF list

The Olympic Champion, and world record co-holder of 110m Hurdles, came behind his arch-rival Allen Johnson.

The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) issued the latest leading men's and women's world rankings on Tuesday.

MEN:

1. (1) Saif Saaeed Shaheen (Qatar) 3,000 meters steeplechase, 1,441 points

2. (2) Kenenisa Bekele (Ethiopia) 5,000/10,000 meters (cross country), 1,436

3. (3) Asafa Powell (Jamaica) 100/200 meters, 1,433

5. (5) Christian Olsson (Sweden) triple jump, 1,411
