Bite the bullet

Bite the bullet,

I'd really like to go to the beach today, but I had better bite the bullet and stay home to study for tomorrow's final exam.(我今天真想到海滩玩,不过还是要勉为其难留在家里,为了明天的期末考试温书。) The president asked the board to bite the bullet to the crisis.
