Celtic wants Nakamura, Du Wei

Updated: 2005-07-19 10:09 China defender Du Wei is likely to be asked to
undergo a trial period before winning himself a move to Celtic.
 Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has been told of the 23-year-old's
availability for about ￡800,000.
The 6ft 4 in Shanghai Shenhua centre-half would provide competition for Bobo
Balde and Stan Varga.
Strachan had decided against pursuing former Portsmouth and West Ham defender
Sebastien Schemmel after a trial spell.
But the former Southampton manager is anxious to bring players in before the
Champions League signing deadline on Thursday.
"I hope to have two more players in by the end of the week," he said after
