Real to visit China on pre-season tour

Real Madrid will play six games on their pre-season tour of the United States and Asia, the Primera Liga club said on Wednesday.

They start their tour in Chicago with a match against Mexican side Guadalajara on July 16 and then play Los Angeles Galaxy in Los Angeles on July 18, they said on their website.

Real travel to China to play Beijing Gouan in the capital on July 23, and then fly to the Japanese capital to play Tokyo Verdy on July 25 and Jubilo Iwata on July 27.

The tour winds up in Thailand with a game against a Thai all-star team in Bangkok on July 29.

The Spanish Primera Liga season kicks off on the weekend of August 27-28.
