The town's epidemic prevention station organised village doctors to administer hepatitis A vaccines to about 2,500 youngsters, aged between three and 16, on June 16 and 17 without official permission, according to local police. The vaccine accident has since killed one, with another 304 school children falling sick Wednesday.[newsphoto]
