"China are a good team, and their level is as high as Germany," German youth team boss Michael Skibbe said after the hard-fought 3-2 win over China in the 1/8 finals of the FIFA World Youth Championship Netherlands 2005 on Tuesday.

"Both teams made a lot of mistakes in the first half, but we strengthened our offense in the second half, and produced a lot of cross balls. Those efforts proved to be effective."

"We have made good use of the two flanks. Delura and Jansen played well to pick those cross balls in the open space of the two flanks to create several good chances," the young coach seemed to be satisfied with his tactics .

When asked to say some Chinese players who have given him deep impression, Skibbe quickly remembered Zhu Ting, "No. 11's absence today is a great loss for China. He is very fast and his good dribbling skills may do great help to China's offense. I think Krautzun should miss him very much. And No.5 (Feng Xiaoting) is also very good."

Skibbe showed his respect for Krautzun:" He has done an excellent job. It's not easy to bring up such a strong team as they beat tough rivals as Turkey and Ukraine in the group stage."
