China wins gold in shooting World Cup

Chinese youngster Lin Zhongzai has claimed the gold medal in the 50m men's slow fire event at the ISSF World Cup in Munich, Germany.

The 24-year-old from southern China's Fujian Province, overshadowed Russia's Olympic champion Mikhail Nestruev finishing with a total of 666.8 points.

With the victory, Lin Zhongzai wins a quota place for the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.

Chinese veteran Tan Zongliang finished fourth with 661.3 points.

Meanwhile, China's Cao Ying won the bronze medal in women's 25m sport pistol shooting.
